This is where many people get confused, emotional, and sometimes defensive. Everyone wants to talk about blasphemy in theory, but very few want to confront how it actually manifests in real life.
In this message, I am not listing opinions. I am not gathering theories. I am revealing the examples of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit exactly as the Spirit has taught me, rooted firmly in the words of Jesus and confirmed by Scripture.
There are three dimensions of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Every true example falls under one of these dimensions. Anything outside these is not blasphemy, no matter how loud people shout.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is revealed through three clear examples:
1. Attributing the genuine work of the Holy Spirit to demonic power.
2. Attributing human deception and fake miracles to the Holy Spirit.
3. Using demonic power to perform signs while claiming it is the Holy Spirit.
Every true example of blasphemy fits into one of these three.
The First Example: Attributing The Work Of The Holy Spirit To Demons
This is the original, direct, and clearest example given by Jesus Himself.
“But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.” — Matthew 12:24
Jesus had just delivered a man who was demon-possessed, blind, and mute. The miracle was undeniable. The power was evident. The people were amazed.
The Pharisees did not deny that a miracle happened.
They denied the source.
They knowingly took what was done by the Spirit of God and credited Satan.
This was not ignorance.
This was not confusion.
This was deliberate spiritual misrepresentation.
Jesus responded immediately and drew a permanent line.
“But the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.” — Matthew 12:31
This example teaches us something critical:
When God truly moves, and a person knowingly calls that move demonic, they are not attacking a pastor or a church.
They are attacking the Holy Spirit Himself.
This is blasphemy.
The Second Example: Attributing Fake Miracles And Deception To The Holy Spirit
This is where the matter becomes deeply uncomfortable for this generation.
In the days of Jesus, the sin was calling God’s power demonic.
In our time, the sin has expanded.
When people stage miracles, manipulate testimonies, plant actors, or manufacture healings and then say, “This is the Holy Spirit,” they are committing blasphemy.
Why?
Because they are forcing the Holy Spirit to take responsibility for lies.
They are attaching God’s name to deception.
This violates a command God takes seriously.
“Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.” — Exodus 20:7
This is not a minor offense.
It is spiritual fraud.
Any miracle that is arranged by human manipulation but credited to the Holy Spirit becomes blasphemy the moment God’s name is used to authenticate the lie.
God is not mocked.
The Holy Spirit is not a marketing tool.
Whenever deception wears the garment of divinity, blasphemy has occurred.
The Third Example: Using Demonic Power While Claiming It Is The Holy Spirit
This is the darkest and most dangerous example.
It is when people knowingly use occult power, familiar spirits, or demonic forces to produce signs and wonders, while openly claiming the power is from God.
This mirrors exactly what Jesus addressed in Matthew 12.
Beelzebub was named then.
The same spirit operates today under religious disguise.
“For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” — 2 Corinthians 11:14
When demons are used and God is credited, blasphemy is complete.
This is not ignorance.
This is intentional corruption.
It is spiritual treason.
This is why Jesus did not debate, explain gently, or offer correction.
He pronounced judgment.
What Are Not Examples Of Blasphemy Against The Holy Spirit
It is important to clarify what blasphemy is not.
Doubt is not blasphemy.
Fear is not blasphemy.
Questions are not blasphemy.
Even wrong statements made in ignorance are not blasphemy.
Blasphemy requires knowledge.
It requires awareness.
It requires deliberate spiritual misrepresentation.
This is why many people who fear they have committed this sin actually have not.

Why These Examples Carry Eternal Consequences
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable because it attacks the Spirit who brings conviction.
“And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin.” — John 16:8
Once conviction is destroyed, repentance becomes impossible.
Once repentance is impossible, forgiveness cannot occur.
This is why Jesus said it will not be forgiven in this world or the world to come.

A Final Warning To This Generation
Not every miracle is God.
Not every sign is divine.
Not every manifestation is the Holy Spirit.
But also, not every rejection of miracles is discernment.
The line is truth.
Honor the Holy Spirit.
Fear God.
Do not credit demons for God’s work.
Do not credit God for deception.
And never mix darkness with light.
