The worst part of his legacy is how he chose to live his final years. Before his death, he completely abandoned his legally wedded wife, his children, and his grandchildren. He left them behind to go and rent a separate house just to live with a young lady who had run away from her own husband. Now, his life has abruptly ended, he is no more, and the community is actively mocking his choices. This earthly reaction is a physical mirror of what today’s Bible verse reveals: the terrifying reality of divine laughter and accountability over a wasted, malicious life.
