Bible verse of the day for Tuesday July 21 2026

The bible verse of the day for today Tuesday July 21 2026 is Malachi 3:10. Let us look at how this scripture of covenant promise reads across 7 foundational translations, broken down section by section:

1. King James Version (KJV) “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

2. New International Version (NIV) “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”

3. English Standard Version (ESV) “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

4. New King James Version (NKJV) “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.”

5. New Living Translation (NLT) “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”

6. Amplified Bible (AMP) “Bring all the tithes (the tenth part of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [such] a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”

7. Christian Standard Bible (CSB) “Bring the full tenth into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Test me in this way,” says the Lord of Armies. “See if I will not open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure.”

Daily Reflection: Unlocking True Storehouse Tithing and Divine Provision

Many believers find it very difficult to experience financial or material blessings from God, even after faithfully giving money as tithes for a very long time, and they wonder why the promised floodgates remain shut. When you look deeply into Malachi 3:10, you discover that God is not simply asking for money to be brought into a place of prayer; rather, He asks that the tithe be brought into a storehouse (where food is kept) so that “meat” (food) might be available for His children to eat.

Scriptures like Deuteronomy 14:22–27, Leviticus 27:30–32, and Numbers 18:21–24 show that tithes originally consisted of the produce of the farm and livestock, set aside as belonging to God, which He then assigned to the Levites as repayment for their temple service. As Nehemiah 13:10–13 reveals, when the Israelites stopped bringing these tithes, the Levites abandoned the temple work to farm for survival, prompting Malachi’s warning. Misunderstanding this biblical context often leads to frustration, but examining Deuteronomy 14:22–29 reveals the fullness of the tithing law: taking the tithe every year, partaking in gratitude with family, and every third year giving it to the Levites, strangers, orphans, and widows. Observing God’s whole intent for stewardship opens the way for His true financial and spiritual blessings.

Daily Prayer: Grace for Obedience, Proper Tithing, and Open Windows of Heaven

Today’s Confession: I boldly declare that I walk in total obedience to God’s financial instructions! I align my heart, my mind, and my giving with the true intent of His Word. I am not motivated by fear or legalistic routine, but by genuine love, righteousness, and a desire to see God’s storehouse filled and the needy cared for. The windows of heaven are opened over my life, my household, and my handiwork today. I step into an abundant, uncontainable overflow on this Tuesday, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

A Morning Prayer for Covenant Alignment and Abundant Provision: Heavenly Father, the Sovereign Creator and Owner of the earth and all its fullness, I bow before You this Tuesday morning. Thank You for Your eternal promise in Malachi 3:10 and for revealing the true spirit behind Your covenant instructions.

Lord, grant me spiritual discernment and grace to obey Your laws of giving and stewardship according to Your wisdom. Help me to care for the needy, support those who serve in Your house, and walk with a heart of gratitude and generosity. Forgive me for every area where I have acted out of tradition without understanding. Open the windows of heaven over my labor, rebuke the devourer for my sake, and let Your blessings pour down until there is no room left to contain them. In the glorious and matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
