2. New International Version (NIV) “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
3. English Standard Version (ESV) “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

7. Christian Standard Bible (CSB) “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.”
Daily Reflection: Encountering the Raw Power and Boldness of the Lord Jesus
First and foremost, this powerful statement was made by the Apostle Peter, and let us begin by examining why he made this declaration. In the previous chapter (Acts 3), Peter and John had performed an undeniable miracle by making a lame man walk at the Beautiful Gate. As the news spread and reached the Jewish clerics, the Apostles were arrested and summoned before the high council. The religious authorities specifically asked them in verse 7, “By what power or by what name have you done this?” As the scripture reveals, Peter, being completely filled with the Holy Spirit, rose up to make the declaration we see today. He began by boldly telling them that it was in the name of the same Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom they crucified that this miracle was done. After giving this speech, the Jewish clerics could do absolutely nothing to counter them because there was living evidence standing right in their midst—the man who was completely healed.
The main reflection in this passage revolves entirely around the boldness of the disciples. What gave them this unshakeable boldness? They had intimately seen the Lord Jesus perform diverse miracles during His ministry, and after His death and resurrection, they too began performing diverse miracles in His name. By this point, they were convinced beyond any shadow of a doubt that truly salvation can only come from Jesus and no one else.
To successfully apply this passage to our lives, we must understand the dynamic of encountering the power of the Lord Jesus. Merely hearing about what Jesus did and mentally believing it is not enough to give you the divine boldness to preach Him or talk about Him anywhere; you must encounter His raw power in the practical course of your Christian walk. Faith is basic, but experiencing that raw power means your faithfulness has been fulfilled and activated into dynamic authority.

Daily Prayer: Grace for Boldness and Manifestation of Signs
Today’s Confession: I boldly declare that there is salvation, deliverance, and healing in no other name except the name of Jesus Christ! I operate in the unshakeable boldness of the Holy Spirit today. I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for I have encountered the raw power of the living God. Every argument of the enemy is silenced before me by the visible evidence of God’s goodness in my life. I walk in original light, apostolic authority, and divine protection all through this Monday, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
A Morning Prayer for Holy Spirit Boldness and Divine Evidence: O Lord God Almighty, the Provider of absolute salvation and the One who fills His servants with supernatural courage, I bow before Your throne this Monday morning. Thank You for the exclusive power and authority packed inside the matchless name of Jesus, as revealed in Acts 4:12.
Father, grant me the grace to look past basic faith and truly encounter Your raw power in my daily Christian walk. Fill me afresh with the Holy Spirit today, just as You filled Peter, so that I may stand boldly and witness for You without fear or compromise. Let the dynamic evidence of Your healing, restoration, and blessings be so visible in my life, household, and business layouts that critics and opposition will have nothing to say. In the glorious, saving, and matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
