Do not manipulate or compromise your Christian standards to escape persecution or gain popular approval. When you stand boldly for God’s truth, God takes full responsibility for defending your life.
- Trust God’s Invisible Barriers: You might not always see the angels guarding your house or the spiritual walls built around your children, but you must trust that they are there. Refuse to carry yourself like an easy prey for the devil. Walk through this day knowing that you are heavily defended by heaven. When you step into your workplace or community, let your spirit be grounded in the reality that those who hate you are secretly restricted from executing their full malice because of the God you serve.
2. Pray for the Complication and Restraint of Your Oppressors
When you face systemic manipulation or silent battles from people who want to pull down your ministry or career, do not trade insults or use carnal weapons. Go to your prayer altar. God is planting supernatural fear and strategic restraint into the hearts of all my mockers. Where they planned shame, I receive honor. O Lord God of my salvation, the one who silences the ragings of the heathen and frustrates the tokens of liars, I lift Your name high this morning. I thank You for the deep, original light in Matthew 14:5. Thank You for showing me that You are fully capable of turning the power of kings into absolute weakness just to preserve Your children.
Lord Jesus, I bring my life, my family, and my content ministry before Your feet today. I ask that You look upon every Herod that has risen up against my progress, my marriage, or my spiritual growth. Wherever the enemy has formed a deep purpose to put me to shame or stop my voice, let Your supernatural restraint throw them into confusion.
