John 10:10 explicitly unmasks the operational framework of the thief, who represents Satan. The enemy targets human destinies, often operating through desperate people who consult him for quick success. When individuals go to the devil for prosperity, he builds a trap of sorrow—stealing the destinies of their spouses, children, or relatives to exchange them for temporary wealth. In the end, he kills the person prematurely, preventing them from living long enough to enjoy what they acquired, while their children squander the cursed wealth. This dark reality reminds us that only the blessings of God add no sorrows (Proverbs 10:22). Jesus declares that He came to give us life because life itself is the most vital gift; without it, you can never enjoy any earthly blessing.
